Ukrainians, babies flight for international adoptions
Ukrainian authorities are currently considering what they say is a ring, involving local doctors, stolen or bought new-born babies and Ukraine has provided foreign couples. Records of the investigation show that at least a handful of infants living in the USA as adopted children.The Ukrainian authorities said they have arrested and two doctors and other authorities are investigating for newborns from their mothers in the years 1993 and 1994 and sold for profit. A doctor who helped investigate the case, said doctors in the scandal babies get sometimes wrongly said that the baby was dead - and then sold to foreigners, among others.
